Alex has been selected to participate in the European Producers Workshop 2012 with the 65 Wilding Films feature film, HARBOUR, currently in development. Alex' attendance is supported by a Skillset scholarship and she is one of two UK producers selected for the training scheme this year.

All in Good Time has been completed!

Break My Fall is released in UK cinemas by Peccadillo Pictures. The film opens on 22nd July at the Apollo Cinema, Piccadilly Circus in London’s west end and will receive further screenings in cinemas all over the UK, including Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester.

Break My Fall is picked up for international sales by Paris-based sales outfit Reel Suspects. Alex signs the deal at Cannes. It has subsequently sold to two more territories (France, Italy).

Frankfurt-based distributor Pro-Fun Media release Break My Fall, Alex’s first feature as a co-producer, in German cinemas.

The pre-production on All in Good Time is well underway with the shoot planned for the spring.

Finland's biggest daily newspaper, Helsingin Sanomat, interviewed Miikka about his work. The piece appeared as the lead article in the TV section on the 24th of January 2011.

Following a successful international festival run, SMALL-TIME REVOLUTIONARY receives its TV premiere on YLE1, The Finnish Broadcasting Corporation's flagship channel on the 24th of January at 10.40pm.

Miikka has been selected for the Think-Shoot-Distribute intensive training course at the London Film Festival. Aimed at filmmakers preparing their first feature film, the 5-day course consists of masterclasses and 1-2-1s with established industry professionals.
